Seam Reinforcing Tape provides seam reinforcement to various seams to increase durability. This tape can be made
with many custom top fabrics. Examples include, stretchable spandex to maintain the flexibility of a shell fabric along
the seam to a tight woven polyester to increase strength on a car’s convertible top. The tape can be applied using a
conventional hot-air seam sealing machine, ultrasonic machine, or heat press. Applying reinforcement tape on the
outside of a garment can give a functional as well as a decorative look.
